Very nice family. Very accommodating and understanding. We liked the location and the breakfast was the best. Quiet place. Away from the main road. They helped us rent a motorcycle for a reasonable price.

We had a wonderful time at the cabin. The view of the Lion Rock is fantastic! The cabin was perfect for us:) Peter called me when we arrived and explained all ins and outs of the area and gave us some great advice. He was happy to answer any of our questions any time of the day. The cabin with its garden are very private and amazing for some wildlife spotting. Our kids loved it. There is also a wood-fired pizza oven in the garden. Sumith put the fire on for us and Raja swiftly organised and delivered yeast and flour from the local bakery for our pizza baking experience:) We all had a lot of fun kneading the dough and baking pizza in a real outdoor pizza oven! It was delicious:). We used bicycles provided free of charge, washing machine and there is a drinking water dispenser in the cabin, so no need to buy bottled water:) We loved seeing wild chickens coming to the garden and peacocks were always a good entertainment for the kids;) Sumith brought us, freshly picked from the garden, jackfruit to try;)

The room was well equipped with everything you wanted, especially for a tree house. The owner was really nice, he gave us informations about what to visit and arranged tours for us. The property is very nice. Breakfast was ok, continental.

Nelum and her family were very friendly and supportive. Nelum is a great cook. I enjoyed two delicious meals prepared by her. Isuru is a good tuktuk driver. I always felt very safe travelling with him. Around her house you have many trees. It's a bit a jungle feeling. I would definitely come back and stay with Nelum and her lovely family again.
