The location is perfect! Close to lions rock and the other things to do. Only 2 min Walking from restaurants. The homestay itself is very quite and the bed was amazing. We had the best sleep. The Family is amazing! They’re sooo sweet and help you with everything. The food is so tasty, she makes it herself and the taste is sooooo GOOD! You Will have the best food in the area at the homestay. Thank you so much for evrything, we had a lovely time.

I loved everything. When you seek tranquality from the busy roads nd tourist hotspots, that's the place to be! I had a swim in the lake, was able to cook my pasta (Rice free day. . .haha) nd loved the nature nd observing animals. The cabin has been on Air BnB for many years nd is a true hidden treasure. Can imagine that it is also great for families

Review of Elephant Lake Villa We had a fantastic stay at Elephant Lake Villa in Sigiriya! Madu is an amazing host—always available, friendly, and incredibly helpful. He even drove us around himself, making it easy to explore the area. While the location is a bit remote, which adds to its peaceful charm, having your own transportation is definitely a plus for convenience. The atmosphere at the villa is laid-back and cozy, creating a great place to relax and unwind. Overall, it’s a wonderful spot to experience Sigiriya. Keep up the great work, Madu!

The food was delicious, her family was lovely including her older son for driving me to the one hike for 1000 and to Dambulla after for 1500. She was very kind and I appreciate the help with making my curry. Nelum made great breakfasts such as cocunut/millet roti with dal, fruit, and tea; which were included and a well priced dinner which was great too. She was flexible with what she made. The room has 2 fans to keep things cool.
