Beautiful home in a stunning location, nestled high up in the Ourika valley next the river. The accomodation is separate from the main property, with its own kitchen and bathroom There is space for parking a car and it is in walking distance of nearby cafes and restaurants, as well hiking trails We were very well looked after by the resident family and even gave us breakfast as part of our package I highly recommend this stunning place. Great location and clean apartment. Only criticism are the smell of urine in the entrance / corridors to the main building. The host was exceptional - extremely helpful and made me feel safe during my stay. Great views of the mountains too.

We had a fantastic stay in this beautiful oasis. A very warm welcome from the owner and the team, and very good care for our family. The villa is stunning and from there it was also quite easy to go to the beautiful mountains, Marrakech etc. The views at the roof top are also fantastic and there are many beautiful seating options in the villa area itself, in beautiful colors. Also enjoying the quietness.

We stayed for the night on our run/walk from Imlil to Tacheddirt (self organised and without a guide). Hassan and his son were such lovely hosts. The terrace had beautiful views and all the food was great. They gave us a tasty sandwich packed lunch. In April it was a little cold at night so Hassan put on the log burner in the upstairs sitting room and we had the option of eating inside. This is a unique stay in the highest village in North Africa and felt far away from the heavy tourism of other areas. A small shop was open for a short time during our stay. We got a bottle of water from Hassan but also water and sweets from the shop.

Exceptionally well built riad in which, rare for Morocco, everything works! We were so pleased that we decided to extend an extra day and change our holiday plans just so that we could enjoy the pool and beautiful calm views just a little bit longer!

I mistakenly booked the wrong dates for this accommodation. A refund was not possible, but our host offered us the dates we wanted to stay at no extra charge. He was true to his word! Oukaimeden is a beautiful place. Our host, Rachid, was exceptionally helpful during our short stay. The Gite was basic, but comfortable, and had better WiFi than anywhere we stayed in Morocco this year. Breakfast was good, and Rachid has a small restaurant a few minutes walk away from the Gite where a lovely tagine for dinner is available.
