The apartment was large and luxurious, immaculately clean, with a beautiful view of the church and the bay. The bed was also very comfortable. The host Gunnar met me at the door as soon as I arrived and was very helpful and friendly. I was only one person, and took advantage of a special introductory discount, but the regular price would be very reasonable for 3 or 4 people.

We spent a magical few days here on the Nordfjord. The property is perfectly situated if you’re planning to do the Hornelen via Ferrata which you have a terrific view of from the bedroom. It’s about a 10-15 minute drive to the start point. Gunnhild and Steffen are exceptional hosts. Warm and friendly and helpful with everything. The apartment is wonderfully appointed with everything you might need. The bigger property is fabulous with a lovely spot for BBQs or to take your morning coffee overlooking the water. Don’t worry if the weather is bad (or if the midges are out) - the area has so much to offer. Couldn’t recommend highly enough.

Really unique place, beautiful quiet surroundings, right next to the water. We loved sitting in the “balcony” and looking out at the water. The place had everything we needed and the perfect quiet atmosphere. The area is stunning - with plenty of great daytrips.
