What a hidden gem that I would love to return to. The most beautiful location!!! This suite was excellent with really thoughtful touches - such as a Roros boardgame that you can play while admiring the cute view of a snow-covered courtyard and red painted houses at the window! The host was very communicative and it was easy to get in to the house. They even kindly allowed for us to store luggage on the day of checkout while we explored the town and had lunch.

It was old and authentic. The placement was ideal for us in the parallel street to the main street. Just a couple of minutes walk to the nearest eating places. The beds were comfortable and top quality bedding (sheets and duvets/pillows) Bathroom was clean and shower worked great. Lots of info about the place. Free parking, although a couple of 100 metres away.

The house is a little treasure situated on a peninsula. The hostess Margit was very helpful giving very good tips about what to visit, restaurants, shops etc. although there was a central heating, we could take as much firewood for the fireplace as we wanted in order to create a very cosy atmosphere in the living room and kitchen.

Situated in Røros in the Sør-Trøndelag region, Villa Gulstua has a garden. Both free WiFi and parking on-site are accessible at the villa free of charge.
