Amazing and friendly staff, big and lovely room, great location. After traveling for a while I was looking forward to a pool day which unfortunately wasn’t possible as there was an issue with the filter in the pool which would have been nice to learn in advance. Also had an issue with power cuts for the steam in the spa but ended up chatting to and getting to know the lovely staff for a long time instead which was super nice. A bit on the pricey side, but definitely recommended if within your budget and a nice relaxing stay :-)

Staying at Amigo Studio Inn was a perfect experience. This new studio is cozy, clean, and has everything a traveler needs. It's within walking distance of the lake & hiking mountain and surrounded by all essentials—shops, restaurants, Medical store, even a swimming pool! I recently had the pleasure of staying at Hotel Royal Orbit Resort, and it was a truly wonderful experience. From the moment I arrived, the staff made me feel warmly welcomed and cared for. The resort's atmosphere is peaceful and relaxing, perfect for anyone looking to unwind and recharge. The rooms were spacious, clean, and thoughtfully designed, with all the modern amenities I needed for a comfortable stay. I especially loved the beautiful views from the balcony — waking up to such serene surroundings was a highlight. The resort's facilities, including the swimming pool and dining areas, were very well maintained. The food was delicious, offering a nice variety of dishes that catered to different tastes. Every meal felt like it was prepared with care. What stood out most was the genuine hospitality of the team. They were always ready with a smile, eager to assist with any requests and to make the stay as pleasant as possible. Hotel Royal Orbit Resort is truly a home away from home. I believe this is the cleanest and biggest apartment we have found in Pokhara. The owner and his wife are so accommodating! The location is not too far from Lakeside—close enough for a short walk and far enough from the busy streets. We stayed in Pokhara for our ABC trek, and the owner kindly let us leave our bags (extra items we didn’t need for the trek) at no extra cost. We actually stayed here for more than one night—two nights before and after our trek. Our stay here was very comfortable, and we will definitely book again whenever we return to Pokhara. The hot shower after our trek was perfect!

I can’t describe with words what a delight it was to stay at Thupten’s place. He is an outstanding host who truly deeply cares about his guests experience. First of all, you can see it in the place itself, which is, by the way, gorgeous. Behind every little detail there is a careful thought (e.g. napkins are put in a special handmade box so nothing stands out from the general style). Thupten is always trying to find new ways to make your stay as comfortable as possible - new soft robes, a way to wash towels so they do not lose their fluffiness, a new washing machines with more regimes so your clothes do not get accidentally ruined, two types of pillows (feather and non-feather) in case you have allergies etc etc etc, And it goes without saying, that everything is spotlessly clean. And on a more personal level Thupten is as attentive and considerable as well. You have to be careful around him: if you accidentally mention that you are in need of something or even show some slight preference of yours - he, like a genie from the bottle, is gonna make your every wish come true. And Thupten’s kindness goes beyond his host responsibilities - he’s gonna take you to a doctor, he’s gonna arrange transfer for you (weeks after your stay at his place is over!) There are many more things I could say about Thupten and his place. But I hope you got the idea - staying at Tibetan rooms is so worth it.
