Our friendly host, Hazel, came to introduce herself and welcome us, which was a really nice gesture. The unit, Villa One, is close to the city centre - a 10-minute walk to The Plaza. The house was immaculately clean, beautifully decorated and well stocked. It has nice plush carpeting upstairs, heated bed-toppers, boxed tissues by the bedside (which is always appreciated), and a heated toilet seat (a rare treat in NZ). It is close to the main road (Fitzherbert Ave) but we hardly heard any traffic. We had a brief but very comfortable stay here, and would love to return soon.
