What a stunning place to know as your home in a magical area in the mountain. The family are beautiful, and very wise. They have a sacred connection with the land and kindly share teachings of the history and traditional practices, music and pottery. The facilities are perfect for the price. A comfortable bed hot shower and kitchen with nice steel cooking pots. Fancy staying in tranquility in the mountains with a shop selling all organic groceries just a few minutes away. This is the place to come!

We had a wonderful 10-day stay at Fany's apartment in Urubamba. It is modern, clean, and nicely furnished and equipped (great kitchen, comfortable beds and living area, hot shower) and it has a beautiful view of green and snow-capped mountains. Good location with great restaurants nearby - we enjoyed Native Peruvian Restaurant and Sukha Urubamba. Bodeguita Abby is an excellent mini-market within walking distance and the center of Urubamba is easily accessible by mototaxi. The calle antigua to Rumichaca Baja is lovely for a walk. Fany is an extremely helpful host and we plan to return for another stay in the future.

Luis and his team made us feel totally at home. The location is; a hidden gem, close enough to walk into town, totally safe, peaceful, spacious inside and out - and the team went above and beyond for us. This included bringing in their chef especially for us, ordering us takeaways, helping us with our laundry, bringing us drinks etc etc. We checked out to go to Cusco - only to arrive at our accommodation and realise we'd made a big mistake. So, we called Luis and asked if he'd have us back. We turned back around and stayed at Kutimuy again for another 3 nights.

Everything was perfect. It's a bit outside of town, so very quiet, beautiful view and only 15 min walk to the beautiful center of urubamba. The staff was very friendly and the restaurant is amazing as well

We were expecting beautiful… But this place is spectacular. So much care and consideration has gone into the building of this valley retreat, from the beautifully landscaped gardens to the cosy and comfortable villas. There are even a couple of resident alpacas and three rabbits that roam the garden. It’s even more lovely than the photos show. Onsite housekeeper Yuly was so friendly and helpful, and owner Gustavo was very responsive with his recommendation for an excellent driver and transport for the 3 days. Both he and Yuly provided exceptional customer service. Another reviewer commented that this is the best place they stayed during their entire 6 month stay in South America… I would go further and say this is one of the best places we have stayed all over the world (and we have travelled a lot). Thank you so much, we came a very long way to be here and we very much hope to return one day.
