Great new resort, comfortable large villas, delicious breakfast. Common spaces, bar area and pool are well maintained and clean. We used the gym and although not large it had everything we needed. SPA was great to for a massage. Staff was very professional and when we encountered an issue it was resolved very efficiently. Short walk to the beach through Jambiani village.

I recently had the privilege of staying at Babu Villas in Jambiani, Zanzibar, and I must say it was an unforgettable experience. From the moment I stepped onto the property, I was struck by the breathtaking beauty of its location. Babu Villas is nestled right on the pristine beach of Jambiani, offering guests an unparalleled view of the turquoise Indian Ocean. One of the standout features of this hidden gem is the abundance of swaying palm trees, laden with coconuts, that adorn the property. These palm trees not only add to the tropical charm but also provide ample shade, making it the perfect spot to lounge and enjoy the gentle sea breeze. The hammock strung between two palm trees quickly became my favorite spot for reading, relaxation, and simply taking in the serene surroundings. The overall atmosphere at Babu Villas is one of peace and tranquility. It's a place where you can escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life and truly unwind. Whether you prefer to laze on the beach, take long walks along the shore, or simply listen to the soothing sounds of the waves crashing, this place offers the ultimate serenity. The accommodation itself was a pleasant surprise. The villa was not only clean and comfortable but also came equipped with a fully stocked kitchen. This made it easy to prepare our meals, especially when we wanted to savor the local flavors of Zanzibar with fresh ingredients from the nearby markets.
