It was really great. The accomodation is very well thought through in details, and also: nicely designed information booklets with activities (you can find that on the website, looks really nice!), hiking information booklets in the apartment upon arrival. All in all a great stay, very close to the beautiful lake and closely cable cars. We took the Rofan one in Maurach (short drive) and had a great time up in the mountains. Panoramic views to dream of! And of course the hiking route along the Achensee, recommended and also good available with a dog. We will definitely come back if we go to the Achensee again!

All rooms come with a balcony with views of the mountain. Our stay at Martina’s apartment was absolutely wonderful. The space was cozy, clean, and thoughtfully arranged — perfect for relaxing as a family. The view was lovely, and everything felt peaceful and welcoming. Martina was an exceptional host — kind, attentive, and truly went above and beyond. She even gifted my wife a delicious homemade strawberry jam, which was such a thoughtful and heartwarming gesture. It made us feel truly cared for. We had a great time with my wife and our three children. Everything was smooth from start to finish, and we made beautiful memories. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a comfortable and charming getaway.

Stunning garden. Such a relaxing place to stay. Plus our ‘receptionist’ Charlie the dog was a much loved character. Breakfast was stunning, a table laid just for you continental style.

Very clean, comfortable, position was central to everything and all areas. The host was exceptional and went out of his way to please. Breakfast was fabulous.

Meerberg is located in the centre of the Tyrolean town of Pertisau, 550 metres from Lake Achen. It provides free Wi-Fi, a garden and balconies in all rooms.

Meerberg serves a rich breakfast buffet. Fresh bread rolls can be delivered in the morning upon request. Our stay in this hotel was absolutely perfect from start to finish! The host (Manni) made us feel so welcome from before we even arrived, with prompt replies to messages we sent. He quickly showed us the equipment we could either hire (at a very reasonable cost) such as e-mountain bikes, or borrow for free (e-scooters and paddle boards). We wanted to try lots of things so this was perfect for us! The room was immaculately clean, spacious and comfortable, with a large balcony with stunning views! There was a coffee machine and breakfast items which could be purchased at a reasonable cost, and a communal lounge area where other drinks etc could be purchased and games could be enjoyed. It was my birthday while we stayed and Manni gave me an Austrian prosecco and wished me a happy birthday which was a lovely touch. We were really sad to leave here and would definitely recommend it to anyone!
