The 4-star By The Sea Resort is located in the centre of Port Douglas, next to Four Mile Beach and just a 2-minute walk from the restaurants along Macrossan Street. All apartments come with full kitchen facilities and many also have sea views. Washer and dryer in the unit were great. All recreational amenities were readily available. The property was beautifully appointed, and Cole was most helpful with our excursion planning.

All air-conditioned apartments at Port Douglas Pool Resort feature a fully equipped kitchen, laundry facilities and a lounge area. We had a wonderful stay in a 2-bedroom swim-out apartment, which was perfect for our family. The space was thoughtfully designed with plenty of storage, and the beds were super comfortable. It’s a little further out of town, but we appreciated the quiet, peaceful surroundings. The staff were warm, helpful, and made us feel right at home. A real highlight was the excellent café just a short walk away, serving delicious breakfast and lunch with beautiful river views—we went every day. We also loved relaxing on our patio each afternoon and stepping straight into the pool.

Here you can enjoy the beach lifestyle and elegance which gives this Queensland resort its reputation as the ultimate holiday playground. Fabulous place to stay. Spacious, block out curtains in bedrooms, lovely balcony with comfy chairs. It was fab being across the Rd from the beach as you could hear the ocean. The pool also looked out on beautiful vegetation. My family loved the tennis court. Also 15 min walk to town. There are no lifts so ask for ground floor apartment if don’t like stairs.

Relax in this charming resort of spacious, self-contained holiday town houses, built around a free-form swimming pool, barbecue and entertainment area. The famous Four Mile Beach is only a 5-minute stroll away Really lovely well equipped townhouse, lots of space, gorgeous pool, close to beach and port Douglas. So good we stayed an extra few nights. Loved that we could use the bbq too. Staff are also lovely.

There is nothing not to like about this property The location is exceptional, a block from 4 mile beach, sitting on Macrossan Street and all the restaurants and shops. The deluxe apartment was well laid out with a balcony overlooking the garden and pool. The real treasure at this property is Ken, the owner of this property. His interest and kindness towards his guests is wonderful. He is full of local information, recommendations for places to visit and restaurants. He genuinely cares and is interested in his guests Ken, made our stay an exceptional experience. I would definitely recommend this property and stay here again
