Located 60 km from the town of Kasane, Muchenje Campsite and Cottages is close to the Ngoma Gate of the Chobe National Park.

Muchenje Campsite and Cottages offers three self-catering units, each featuring an open-plan kitchenette that is equipped with an oven, toaster and refrigerator. Perfect location for visiting Chobe through the Ngama gate, which is much quieter than the Kasane side. The grounds are lovely and everything is well spaced for privacy. The cottage was spacious, clean and well appointed. The owner, Hayden, is super knowledgeable about travel, wildlife, etc. In the area and very generous with his time helping his customers plan visits to the park or onward travel.

There are four bedrooms, three bathrooms, and a kitchen complete with an oven and a microwave. A flat-screen TV with cable channels is featured. Other facilities at The Residence Villa Chobe include a private outdoor pool, gas bbq and entertaining area, and guests can dine at Rudy's restaurant, located on the far side of the property. Everybody is exseptionally friendly and has always a smile- Lesley who supported us whenever asked, the kitchen team, who cooked 3 times a great dinner for us and Boa with immediate positive response. We felt very happy to be there! Thank you to everybody!

The staff were excellent and the on site restaurant was wonderful and affordable!

I like everything about it, as the location is convenient to a small shopping center that has a bank, Nando's Restaurant, grocery store, and gas station just outside the property. Our villa has a view of the river, and the staff are attentive, courteous, and provided us excellent service.

At the guest house, the units are fitted with bed linen and towels. Nice well equipped unit set in a garden. The staff were great. It’s close to a grocery store and a couple restaurants. We enjoyed our stay very much.

The chalets have an open plan lounge with sleeper couch and adjoining kitchenette with 2-plate stove and microwave.They offer a verandah, TV, BBQ facilities and a bathroom with shower. Guests can enjoy garden views. Free WiFi is available. Great location walking distance to town center and boat launch. Very friendly and helpful staff. I would stay here again.

The guest house is fitted with a satellite flat-screen TV. The kitchenette is equipped with a microwave, a toaster and a fridge and there is a private bathroom with a hair dryer and free toiletries. The property has an outdoor dining area. I enjoyed my stay. The guesthouse is in between Kasane and Kazungula, but it was easy to grab a taxi for 8 pula to get into town. There are taxis constantly going back and forth between the two towns. The location was quiet and peaceful. The hosts were gracious and kind.

African Sunsets (Bophirimo Self-Catering Guest House), a property with a garden, is situated in Kasane, 2.4 km from Baobab Prison Tree Kasane, 4.2 km from Sedudu Gate Chobe National Park, as well as 4.3 km from Mowana Golf Course. There is a private entrance at the chalet for the convenience of those who stay. There is a sun terrace and guests can make use of free WiFi, free private parking and an electric vehicle charging station. We were truly grateful as we had to book another game drive the day we were checking out due to heavy rainfall. We hardly saw any animals that day. So we were given a place to keep our bags and relax until the time the game drive was due around 2pm. I would honestly recommend anyone to book here it is really a lovely place and value for money.
