Leda the property manager was so helpful and friendly as were all the cleaners and Abby the maintenance man . Had almost everything we needed. Quite central to the town and we even had food delivered. The Air con was very welcomed too as well as the ceiling fans. There is a small roof top pool with outside table and chairs and towels to use for the pool. We would book again without a doubt. We felt very secure with it being within surrounding wall and punch code lock to doors. Also we made use of the safe.

Howler monkeys and plenty of birds made every morning memorable. I have never seen such detail and thought go into the decor and feel of each room. We felt at home here and will be back.

Ant it comes with lots of extras: strong wifi, washing machine and dryer, super comfy towels, a hammock, many kitchen devices. The owner is friendly and quick in responding, there is the option to book tours, and Albert, the caretaker of the house, is very friendly and helpful. If you are in this region and the cabine is available, book it!

The villa is located about a 10 min drive from San Ignacio. It’s quite hard to find, but you can ask anyone in town, they will know the host Larry. You definitely need a car. It’s a very nice little place in a beautiful setting surrounded with palm trees. It’s extremely quiet and that gives a nice break from San Ignacio. The beds are big and very comfy. We stayed in a 2 bedroom apartment and it was perfect for our family of 4 even without a living room. Larry can give you good advices about the activites in the area.

The area felt so secluded but also very clean and safe. We also had trails to a waterfall and cave towards the back of the property which was great for exploring when we didn’t feel like driving. The room was well stocked and we had everything we needed for our stay. We were really impressed by how well the screens kept the bugs out and we loved laying in the hammock in the screened in porch. It was a bit cold to swim in the pool but we liked heading there in the evenings to relax and enjoy the evening. It was also wonderful to use the grill by the pool and super easy.
