It is right on the promenade overlooking Lake Constance, has two balconies, large rooms, extremely clean and very well appointed. It has everything you could wish for in a home including a great selection of teas. Maria, the host, shows care and hospitality in all the little touches including chocolates on the pillows and a welcome bottle of wine. Wish we could have stayed longer.

Simple rooms is a great place to stay, offering a great value-for-money ratio. Markus, the owner of the place, is an extremely warm and welcoming person. He makes sure the accommodation is spotlessly clean and comfy, where everyone feels at home. The building is newly renovated and offers new furniture and excellent bathroom facilities. There are also 2 kitchens with cooking facilities and a coffee vending machine. We highly recommend this place.

Very spacious and it felt like a home to us. We loved fixing our own meals and sitting on the back deck and listening to the cowbells on the mountains. Perfect! Location was great. Could walk to everything in town. Easy walk from the train station. Very close to grocery store. Biking was awesome!!! Would definitely return to this home. This town is adorable!!!!

It was perfectly cozy and a great starting/end point for my hikes in the Appenzell area (only 30 mins away by train). Jessica was also very chill and friendly, she gave me some extra rosti she'd made too. If I'm ever in the area again, I'll definitely stay here again.

The flat is in a perfect central yet quiet residential building. We had all the needed facilities for a short and even for a longer stay.
