The perfect place to stay if you look for tranquility and pure nature. Mecana is such and beautiful beach, and Sky and Sand is the most special place to stay at. Luisa made my stay just perfect. Her smile and love for nature are contagious, and her meals are delicious. She goes above and beyond to make sure you have a wonderful stay. And the activities offered were a great way to experience everything that Mecana has to offer. I wished I could have stayed longer!

Villa Inesita was my favourite place to stay in Choco. The host and team are so kind, helpful and friendly. Nice friendly atmosphere with shared tables for meals. The food is the best I had in Choco (being vegetarian is not the normal thing here!) and they organise great excursions and activities. It was great and very convenient to be able to get dropped off at the airport with their boat rather than the public lancha.

The holiday home offers bed linen, towels and housekeeping service. I liked remote location, but walkable to El Valle. Elegance of the interior design, to see the ocean from any spot in the house, beautiful beach, landscaping, the kitchen, and Angelica who took care of us and it was a very good communication level. Also, very nice Rosa's restaurant in El Valle.

Beautiful location, super clean, owner were very nice, almost felt like a homestay with a family. You can hear the sea at night :-) If you want, they will prepare breakfast/lunch/dinner for you.

The kitchen comes with a fridge and kitchenware, as well as coffee machine and kettle. For added privacy, the accommodation features a private entrance. Probably the best place to stay in El Valle. The cabin is situated high in front of the jungle and beach. Very cosy place and great hosts.

I always like to make a challenge of finding the most desolate and undisturbed places on the planet, and Los Longos fits easily in my personal top 5. It doesn’t get more off the grid and ocean front than this. Complete disconnection with everything and reconnection with your deepest self. The hosts are accommodating in every sense and their cat is the pinnacle of tranquility, in which I took a great example to mostly do the same.
