Towels and bed linen are provided in the apartment. The accommodation is non-smoking. The accommodation was spotless, super clean. The beds were very comfortable and the kitchen very well equipped. Communication with the host was fast and very professional. The location is very good. Not far away from the city center and the national park. The street where it is located is super quiet.

Situated in Cahuita, 1.1 km from Blanca, Hotel Los Cielos Del Caribe features accommodation with an outdoor swimming pool, free private parking, a garden and barbecue facilities. Each accommodation at the 4-star hotel has city views, and guests can enjoy access to a hot tub. The hotel also offers free WiFi as well as a paid airport shuttle service. While I only had the chance to stay one night at the Los Cielos del Caribe hotel in Cahuita, Limon, it was a stay I truly enjoyed and won’t soon forget. The property is absolutely gorgeous and the owner and host, Tristam, made the stay all that much better. Situated on a hill in a lovely town, this hotel is a newer build with quality in mind. My 2-story room with king size bed was perfect – the AC worked great, the bed and linens were luxurious, the kitchen had everything I needed, and the view was just unbeatable. Plus, if you are a fan of nature, the location doesn’t get any better. There is a path to walk up to a lookout point at the top of the hill where you can enjoy a morning coffee while listening and watching the groups of howler monkeys – much closer here than anywhere else I visited. On the path you’ll find cool anoles and dart frogs and sloths too if you are good at spotting them in the trees. The pool and hot tub were amazing and there was a deck with a grill for afternoon cookouts. There are only a few rooms for rent, so you kind of feel a bit like family while you’re there. Tris made me a delicious breakfast with white guava juice and even added maraschino cherries to my beautifully sliced banana – a pure delight! He was also very helpful with my luggage because the hill is quite steep – and just really the nicest host I’ve encountered in a very long time. You can tell he loves this place and sharing it with guests – and rightfully so because it's simply a slice of heaven on earth. If you get the chance, definitely make Los Cielos a part of your Costa Rican adventure!

The pet-friendly accommodation is air conditioned and features a seating area. All units include a terrace and/or balcony with pool and garden views. There is also a kitchen, equipped with an oven and microwave. A refrigerator and coffee machine are also provided. Each unit features a private bathroom with a bath or shower. Towels and bed linen are featured. Staff was amazing, truly wanted to make us comfortable. One of the big reasons we went with this hotel was the availability of the free bikes- which unfortunately kept breaking down. But they went out of their way to fix them for us. We also appreciate the do it-yourself laundry available, and the clean pool to cool off in, during the late afternoon when it’s really hot. The air conditioning worked really well and the location is great; as it is not in the middle of the downtown hustle and bustle. Very close to the national park - we biked there three times! Nice restaurant - Reggae’s - very close. Easy access to stretch of black sand beach that was not full of tourists. We spotted all kinds of tropical birds in the property and a sloth right across the street.

There is a private bathroom with free toiletries in every unit. Towels are featured. We had a blast! Very received a very friendly welcome by the manager. The breakfast ($10 per person) was delicious and included toast, fresh juice, rice, eggs, pancake, coffee, fresh fruit, etc. This place is a gem. Thanks for having us!

There is a well equipped kitchen including a microwave, stovetop, refrigerator and coffee machine in all units. All units also have a seating area and an outdoor area to enjoy nature. Towels and bed linen are included. The place is a hidden gem. Nestled in the middle of the rain forest amongst lush gardens and local fauna. The songs of the birds were incredible and you could hear the houler monkeys every morning. We hope to come back soon.

A balcony with an outdoor dining area and inner courtyard views is offered in every unit. At the holiday home, every unit has bed linen and towels. The accommodation is fairly basic, but had everything we needed. Loved the outside kitchen. The host, Monica, was very helpful and even arranged a dentist appointment for us when my wife broke a tooth. The great thing is the location, right on the edge of the national park and less than a 5 minute walk into Cahuita. We were lucky to see 15-20 howler monkeys in the garden as well as capuchin monkeys and an agouti. We actually saw more wildlife while chilling out at the property than we saw in the national park.

For added convenience, the property can provide towels and bed linen for an extra charge. We like this place so much that we have returned since first being here two years ago. Marice and Luciano are wonderful hosts. Their property is a jungle oasis close enough to town but far enough to be removed from any of the noise. The place is immaculate, both inside the bungalows as well as within the well tended and manicured grounds. Home to sloths and other interesting creatures. Kitchen is well stocked with everything you may need to cook your own meals. WiFi connection is strong and consistent. Ample places to park if you’re bringing a vehicle. Support staff is friendly and always smiling.

Beautiful property and grounds, fully equipped kitchen, comfy bed, clean bathroom, air conditioning (big plus for someone who sleep in cool temp), awesome swimming pool all by ourselves, warm and personable hosts (Fabiola, Markus and David are super friendly and helpful)! The location cannot be better! It is quiet, safe yet just a short drive to the beaches, restaurants and Cahuita National Park. We took the great advice from other travelers to stay in Cahuita area rather than Puerto Viejo!! There are great restaurant options in Puerto Viejo but too busy and run down for our liking. We love our stay at Plaza Tucanito where allow us to explore beautiful beaches nearby and plenty of dining options in Cahuita town. Cahuita National Park is definitely a must visit! We went in the morning and saw tons of wildlife and enjoyed the calm and beautiful Playa Blanca! We also enjoyed Playa Grande en Cahuita : )
