I love this place! There is absolutely nothing to complain about! It's a converted residence with one ground floor room and 3 more up a winding staircase. It's a perfect combination of private room and hostel-style interaction with other guests. Owner, Pascal, single-handedly does all the work, keeping the place very clean and tidy. He speaks adequate English. At 25€ (single, mid-May, no breakfast), it's an outstanding value, too. I enjoyed it so much I stayed 3 nights. When there was no availability on the 2nd night, Pascal gave me his room.The four rooms share two bathrooms, half and three-quarter. There is a full shared kitchen/lounge, including an oven and cooking equipment, suitable for preparing full meals. Wi-fi is excellent. There is a constant supply of coffee and tea, a generous set of herbs and spices, ice cubes, and garden lemons. The description says towels and linens cost extra. This is true for towels but linens are included. The rear surroundings are lushly green and the residential street is very quiet. There is a small balcony for smoking or sitting and the large front yard has tables and chairs. There is ample, free street parking. Shopping and the beach are a long walk away, but there is good bus service. Guests should be aware that the rooms do not have external locks so they're accessible when not occupied but I had absolutely no sense of theft danger. If you. like me, don't like standard hotels, this place is for you!

Very clean with quality furnishings. Stayed for 1 night in November 2024, such a pity it couldn't have been longer. Very nice and helpful owner.

Towels and bed linen are provided in the apartment. The property has an outdoor dining area. This is a very compact but magical place to stay. So very close to a beautiful beach, and to shops, cafes and restaurants. With a balcony kitchen and everything you might need at hand. Also, the small shower room has an excellent luxury shower. Excellent secure parking. I very much enjoyed my short stay.

Beautiful apartment exactly between town and medieval city. Close to the river Aude. Perfect for me travelling solo. Everything provided in such a cosy space.
