The host was incredibly thoughtful and sent us a detailed message (with photos!) explaining how to find the keys, it made everything so much easier. The apartment is in the city center, but it was surprisingly quiet. We slept with the windows open, and the courtyard is secured with a locked gate, which made us feel safe. The building itself is old and full of character, while the studio has a modern interior and all the essentials. We stayed for three nights and felt very comfortable and at home.

She showed us around and had provided us with some delicious cheese, chilled water and milk in the fridge plus tea/coffee etc. She also offered a pop corn machine, with the pop corn of course and a foot bath machine with salts, to treat ourselves in the evening. All these small details are so welcome after a long drive. It's a short walk from the town and round the corner from a lovely river walk. We visited Château Chenanceau which was also just 10 mins away.

This bed and breakfast features free private parking, a shared kitchen and free WiFi. Featuring family rooms, this property also provides guests with a terrace. From the moment we arrived, we knew we had found something special. The home was spotlessly clean, with spacious interiors and a bed of perfect firmness—exactly what we needed to recover from our long journey. The bathroom and toilet were thoughtfully designed, offering both functionality and a sense of relaxation. Ombeline and Cédric were incredibly kind and patient. Even though we arrived well past the official check-in time due to a travel miscalculation, they waited for us without any sign of impatience. To our surprise, the kitchen was stocked with pasta and homemade sauce—an absolute lifesaver for our late-night hunger, and it was delicious! Breakfast the next morning was just as delightful. Since my daughter had stayed up too late the night before and couldn’t wake up in time, Ombeline and Cédric kindly packed fresh bread for her to enjoy on the road. This thoughtful gesture truly touched our hearts. This place is wonderfully comfortable and filled with warmth. Although the location is far and we may not have the chance to visit this town again, we will always remember the kindness and hospitality we experienced here. Highly recommended to anyone visiting—you will not be disappointed. Just one small tip: try to arrive before dark, as finding the road to the property at night can be a bit tricky.
