Very spacious appartment with some quesionable colours (red linen ;-)) One should be cautious, if travelling with small kids...or dogs. Stairs are not protected form one side...our dog fell down, when going to dring some water in the kitchen. Nothing happened, luckily.

John and Julia got us acclimated to Chablis and had a glass of Chablis with us over looking the river. Amazing!

Location is excellent. exceptionally warm and helpful welcome. It is obvious that a lot of thought has gone into the comfort, the lighting, the decor and the whole presentation of the property. A wonderful stop on our road trip.

You can make your own food in the kitchen before eating in the private dining area, and the holiday home also offers a coffee shop. Location is excellent if you're looking for somewhere quiet surrounded by countryside. Room is perfect size with everything that you need. The host is super friendly and helpful. Plus the Jacuzzi that you can use whenever you want is a real bonus !

The courtyard is nice for good weather stays. The beds were comfortable. The location is excellent, near the tour horologe and in the centre of the charming town of Avallon. Just a short work to the boulangerie, boucherie, other shops, gardens and the town walls. Avallon is situated in a beautiful part of Burgundy.
