This was just wonderful, I’d have stayed longer had it been available. Such a cutely furnished tiny house. The lovely hosts are always trying to improve these already excellent cabins by adding more thoughtful details. I loved the skylight above the bed. Best light for reading. Drift off to sleep with the stars twinkling above you. Great Deeside walks just outside the front door. Perfect cosy place for two; I’d say fitting four in here might get a little cramped, especially if you’re going to leave 4 people’s luggage lying around randomly. Hot tub a nice feature. One commenter complained about not being able to use it in the rain, which, frankly, is weird. When you’re immersed in hot water, the rain can’t touch you. The hosts were extremely friendly, and, in my case, literally went that extra mile! Big thank you to Karl, Bess, and Stacey!

The house was exactly as described, very cozy and well furnished. Tina welcomed us warmly and also gave us a couple eggs from her hens and some milk. Would have stayed more!

Easy walking distance to Highlander Inn or Craigellachie Hotell for a meal. Wifi worked well and the setting of The Fiddichside Inn must be experienced to understand it. A perfect place to stay if you are in the area for hiking, salmon/trout fishing, photographing, distillery experiences, Scottish history and lots more. Surely a go back to place!

The Hostess was in touch the day before to advise on obtaining keys. The home is beautifully decorated and exceptionally clean. There are cooking facilities, a microwave and fridge, china and cutlery, a washing machine. The bathroom is really large and the shower is excellent. The beds are very comfortable. There is a Hotel close by which serves meals, a fish and chip shop and a great Cafe which serves breakfast, morning teas, lunch and afternoon teas. There is a Spar shop opposite the accommodation and an excellent bakery next door. There are bus stops within a 1 minute walk. Would definitely stay again if in the area. Featuring a garden and views of inner courtyard, Brylach Steading is a holiday home situated in a historic building in Aberlour, 12 km from Elgin Cathedral. There is a private entrance at the holiday home for the convenience of those who stay. There is an outdoor fireplace and guests can make use of free WiFi and free private parking. Perfect location beautiful scenery and very friendly hosts. We could not fault this place.
