I liked the architecture of the hotel and the location. Being among olive trees was very serene and calming. The design of the rooms was very nice, and the staff was very accommodating to our needs. I also liked the fact that they were very friendly to animals, not just guests' pets but also stray cats from the area.

We really enjoyed our one night stay out of high season. As soon as we arrived we were wowed by the stunning views across the bay. The apartments were exceptionally clean and equipped with everything we needed. The teas and coffees provided were a great touch and enjoyed whilst sitting on the balcony taking in the views in the morning. The pool is a real treat and we enjoyed watching the sunset whilst taking a dip. Communication with Pete before and during our stay was easy. We hope to return in the future!

Hotel Vasilis Nafplio rooms are very spacious featuring floor-to-ceiling windows. They all include a kitchenette, where guests can prepare a quick meal. They are equipped with air conditioning and TV, and they have a private bathroom with shower and hairdryer. Really lovely hotel. Great view of the fortress. Short walk into the village. Big room with fridge, freezer and cooking facilities. Friendly cats and the owner was very welcoming.

We arrived earlier, and he kindly allowed us to check in to put our stuff the room. He also gave us a helpful tip to visit the beach right away, which turned out to be perfect timing as it saved us from the afternoon rain. The location is excellent—just a short walk to the city center, the beach, and located between two fortresses. Breakfast was fantastic—delicious and very satisfying. On our last day, we had an early checkout, and the host thoughtfully prepared our breakfast the night before so we wouldn't miss it. I highly recommend this accommodation and would definitely stay here again if we return to Nafplion or the surrounding area.
