You will need a bike to easily explore everything around. There are several beaches within 20 to 30 minutes driving, so it is a very good starting point if you want to explore different places. Within walking distance, you can find many stores and restaurants. Stuff is amazing.

To be honest, Canggu was not really our kind of place. We are not digital nomads, just tourists who came for sun, surf, and relaxation. The town itself didn’t feel very cozy or nice to walk around — besides the countless trendy cafés and restaurants. On top of that, we were really unlucky with the weather: it was rainy, stormy, and even flooded during our stay. But! Sunny Apart II made our 8 days in Canggu much better, and we actually felt really comfortable at this hotel. The apartments are very modern, bright, and clean, with a nice balcony, good shower, and plenty of space. There was always fresh drinking water and tea available. The facilities are great: a lovely pool, a small fitness studio, a sauna, a hammam, and even an ice bath. On rainy days we could just relax and enjoy everything there. The location is also very convenient — close to trendy cafés, bars, and restaurants, and about 6–10 minutes to Berawa Beach. For surfing we usually went to Batu Bolong Beach, which was about a 40-minute walk or 10–15 minutes by scooter. If you want to explore more of central Canggu and Batu Bolong Beach but don’t plan to rent a scooter, it might not be the most convenient place. But if that’s not an issue, then this is a fantastic place to stay — especially for longer stays — because it’s comfortable, modern, and everything you need is nearby.

Who made my wife and I a romantic heart shaped floating dinner in the infinity pool overlooking the ocean with flowers and authentic Bali food, to Ruta giving us iconic tour destinations such as the temple and giving us a scooter to use! You guys were amazing! We love you all so much! Thank you for treating us like family and opening your doors to us! We appreciate it so much and have forever touched our hearts! We will never forget you guys and this trip has taught us so much from your hard work and honor to work to your love, happiness, and so much joy in your smiles and laughter! Thank you again! This place was honestly a dream! the view was breathtaking and the space was so open and relaxing. But what truly made my stay unforgettable was the incredible staff. Every single one of them was kind, helpful, and always smiling. They went above and beyond to make everything perfect, even arranging transportation for me. The food they provided was also delicious and presented very well. The location was perfect to enjoy some quiet and get fresh air and a mesmerizing view of the jungle and the rice fields. I would return to this villa without a doubt!
