This was the best hotel experience I had on my trip. You could feel the human attitude and care in everything. and everything was just very pleasant. We didn't see much of the surroundings because there was a lot of fog and our stay was relatively short, but we experienced a magical atmosphere. Breakfast made from local products and warm, home-baked bread. This is a family business and you can really feel the family in this place.

This property makes you feel at home. It’s owned by a very welcoming couple and is so well maintained. We stayed there for a night and since then, we want to go back every single day. It is super spacious, has everything one can imagine, neat and tidy, and the views are stunning.

We stayed with my wife for two nights in their beautiful forest room “Skogar”, a wooden fully equipped private room with private bath. Very clean, with comfortable beds. We managed to cook our dinner and also prepared our breakfast in the kitchen. Lastly, the hosts were so friendly and kind that we thought we have been staying in our home place! Absolutely the best of all accomodations we've had during our Ring Road tour. The cottage was absolutely stunning and cozy, with all amenities a guest would need. The surrounding area was gorgeous and the hosts were extremely accommodating, even going as far as lending us duct tape to fix a pair of our boots.

The location was lovely - very gorgeous wee town, and a spectacular drive into the valley. The area around the apartment felt very safe, and, had it not been pouring with rain, would have been lovely to walk around. The old school house was beautifully appointed, super clean, and was a really good size. We appreciated the washing machine. The reception area was in the nearby bar/restaurant which we didn't eat at, but it looked really nice.
