Dating back to 1900, the modern Kvosin Downtown Hotel offers rooms with a seating area, flat-screen TV and a private bathroom with shower. Most rooms have a kitchenette with a dining area, fridge and cooking hobs. The location was great as it is at City Center and walking distance to various attractions. Also overnight parking is just 10-15 mins walk away near the lake which is of great convenience. Staff was extremely friendly and made the room available for early check in knowing we needed it. Room comes with Nespresso machine and capsules and electric stove. We were lucky to have a nice balcony to our room.

It was great to stay warm and comfortable in cold Iceland. If I visit Iceland again, I would love to stay here again.

The apartment was easy to find and there was free parking in front. The rooms were clean and there were all the amenities needed for our stay. There is a Bonus right around the corner, which made shopping for food easier. The host was wonderful, we wanted to watch some local TV station and in 5 minutes he was there to show them to us. Perfect location to go on a walk to the city, but also to for going on adventures outside of Reykjavik.

It did feel like we were in an industrial section of town but there was a hotel next door that had great food and service at the restaurant. I believe it was called Eyja.

The apartment location was perfect! The location could not be better! It was close enough to walk everywhere, about 10 minutes or less without being in a busy area. Check in was so easy. Community was so good and response was prompt. The food hall Posthus food hall and the famous hot dog stand are 2 minutes walk. Also the restaurant Messin was also walking distance and so good. Rainbow road was 10 minutes walk. The apartment had a great view of the harbour. We would definitely stay here again!

The apartment offers bed linen, towels and laundry service. We stayed two nights here on late November and made a very last minute reservation on the same day. But very satisfied with our decision. Location: it is not in the middle of the city but it is great because it has ample free parkings outside the building. It is very convenient for us to load and unload our big luggages and the building has a lift. We drove to the city and park few hours when sightseeing. It's a walkable distance but during winter it was just too cold for us. It has eateries and a Bonus supermarket next door. Owner/manager: fast response. We communicate through this app and get fast prompt response. Though we booked few hours before check in, the apartment is ready, clean and self check in instruction is clear and easy to understand, easy to access. The locals living there are also nice and friendly. Facilities: washer and dryer available in common space. However we can't comment on details because we didn't use it. We just dry our small items in the house on the heated drying racks. Kitchen facilities are good, managed to cook with ease and the owner also left some basic seasonings and maybe items from previous guests. I like that they didn't throw away perfectly good items. We're able to use it as well.👍 The apartment is cozy and homely. Would stay again for future visit and stayed even longer. Very comfortable, feel safe and in summer maybe we can use the big terrace. The owner cares about the details because the plates and bowls and the vases are the nice ones.
