This is a great apartment, and everything is well thought out. The bathroom provides all necessary toiletries, and a washing machine and dryer are also available. There is a fold-out sofa bed in the living/dining area, which was comfortable to sleep on. Communication before and after our stay was clear and smooth. There’s a free parking space in front of the building. The harbor (for whale watching) is just five minutes away, and the local brewery Húsavík Öl is also within walking distance. Just a tip: the local grocery store closes quite early, so keep that in mind if you're arriving late.

The location was great, the appartement had everything we needed. We could do laundry, cook and chill in the appartment. It was a great stop in the middle of our trip to wind down and relax.

What a beautiful property surrounded by mountains and a small waterfall. We were pleasantly surprised by the side of the cottage, it was much bigger than we expected. The front porch area was all glass windows and doors with amazing views and a hot tub and there was a deck with a grill as well. The kitchen had everything we needed, even a waffle maker. This was my kids' favorite place, they loved the hot tub (no jets), the soccer field and small playground outside as well as walking up the hill near the waterfall. The lollipops on their pillows were also a great surprised for them. :) It was very relaxing and we enjoyed our stay.
