From the moment we walked into Colosseum Suits by Glenn, we knew this place was special. As a couple, we were absolutely touched by the thoughtful welcome – a heart-shaped box of Lindt chocolates and a beautifully decorated bed. We’d been to three other cities in Italy before Rome, but this level of detail and hospitality was unmatched. The apartment itself was modern and super easy to use – a brand-new AC and a first-class TV, both of which worked perfectly and made our stay extra comfortable. We were also welcomed with a bottle of wine and water, which was such a nice touch after a day of travel. Location-wise, you can’t beat it. The tram stop to Trastevere is literally right outside the building, which made exploring the city super convenient. The area is lovely, peaceful yet well-connected. The free breakfast for two was more than enough – fresh, high-quality croissants, a delicious sandwich, and cappuccinos that were top-notch. Honestly, it was better than breakfasts we paid for elsewhere! The host was excellent – responsive, helpful, and quick to solve any issues we had. You can tell that real thought (and money!) has gone into this place – from the sparkling clean kitchen to the little extras like Nutella, crackers, lemon, and fruit teas. Everything felt carefully chosen and of good quality. Yes, the room isn’t huge, but it’s so well-designed and cozy that we could’ve easily stayed there for a week. The cleanliness, comfort, and vibe were just that good. In our opinion, this is a solid 4-star property, and if we ever come back to Rome, we’re not staying anywhere else. This place made our trip unforgettable.

For me it was very well located close to my family in Rome, to the east of the city. Easy to get into the centre of Rome by Metro, tram or bus. It’s a good size, very clean, safe and quiet. Lots of small bars, cafes, food and supermarket places. There’s a lot of kitchen units, but not a lot in them, which was fine for me, but anyone self-catering may want a few more things. Big fridge. Nice bathroom. Air conditioning units when needed, but the temperature was mild when I was there. The polite owner was on hand if I needed anything.
The kitchen & fridge was well stocked for self catering breakfasts and the location of the property was excellent.
The pool was a great asset to have as it was 38 degrees. The propriety had a kitchen for self catering. The location was good, next to a train station, in 20 min we were in centre. Few restaurants around but you need to google and find them. A supermarket 10 min a way.
Excellent Pool. Good buffet breakfast.Very large room and king size bed, good kitchen and fridge if self catering. Location just outside city, walk to spanish steps in about 25 mins across parkland. Direct tram/bus route to vatican city from rd outside hotel.
Self catering in a shared kitchen which was well kitted out and very clean and modern. Pleasantly surprised that there was a washing machine, ironing board, iron etc. Everything one needs for a week in Rome.
