We had an absolutely wonderful stay at the charming Il Nido, and a big part of that was thanks to our incredible hosts, Maria Theresa and Emilio. From the moment we arrived, they made us feel so welcome, and greeted us with refreshing iced tea and delicious snacks after our journey. Every morning, they prepared a beautiful breakfast spread, complete with a delicious homemade Italian cake that changed daily, which was such a thoughtful and personal touch! Their hospitality was truly above and beyond; always cheerful, helpful, and full of great recommendations for things to see and do in the area. Our room was spotlessly clean, comfortable, and had an amazing view that made waking up each morning a real treat. Maria Theresa’s kindness and attention to detail made this stay feel extra special; it was more than just a place to stay, it definitely felt like home. We can’t recommend this place enough and would love to return someday!

She met us as we arrived and gave us an informative overview of the entire house and its amenities. She also offerred some food in the evening, also her husband prepared a breakfast for us in the morning, which they didn't have to. The house itself is really nice, super clean and definitely has everything for long stays. Will definitely come here again if I visit Varese in the future.
