The generosity and hospitality and warmth of the family is what makes it so special — I stayed only one night but left with so many wonderful memories. I speak some Arabic, so my particular experience may have been extra special—but I feel like anyone with a heart will feel at home. My day in Dana was honestly the highlight of my time in Jordan—not as flashy as Petra or wadi rum, but absolutely stunning and full of genuine and wonderful people. It is rustic — so if you really need a modern style hotel, this is not your place. But it was cozy and comfortable and warm and wonderful; what more could I hope for?

The room is amazing - very clean, very modern, own bathroom. Free parking next to it, close to Petra by foot. The host is unmatched by his kindness! He loves to get in touch with his customers and exchange about cultural differences alongside very good tea - he also likes to invite people to his family’s wedding, sadly there wasn’t one around the time we stayed :( For extra payment he prepares breakfast, lunch or dinner - we had an amazing breakfast at 6 a.m. (time can be discussed with him), a perfect start for our long journey through Petra! Featuring air conditioning, this unit has a dressing room and a fireplace. For added privacy, the accommodation has a private entrance and soundproofing. The apartment is at the quiet side of the town, so you'll need a car to get around. However, you can park your car right in front of the house. I'm so pleased that the parking spot is flat, as we have seen some hotels/hostels built on slopes - I wouldn't want to be parking at those places for sure. Petra is a 7 minute drive away from the apartment and Little Petra is about a 20 minute drive. The host family is very nice, they made sure we had a comfortable stay and even got us some lovely Jordanian desserts. The place is clean and lovely, with a beautiful view at the front.

Mohammed made our stay really special! The place had an amazing view and the breakfast was maybe the best we had so far.

You must ask him for tips regarding Petra, so definitely stay there BEFORE going to Petra. His tips totally made our day in Petra, like three times better. All clean, we were served good dinner and breakfast.
