The centrally located Pohutukawa Lodge is an 8-minute walk from Whangarei's town centre. It is 5 minutes' drive from Whangarei Events Centre and Toll Stadium (Semenoff Stadium). Whangarei Airport is a 15-minute drive away. Our room was immaculately clean and very comfortable!!!

Avalon, in a tranquil garden setting, offers self-catering cottages with free Wi-Fi and balconies overlooking the valley and the Puketotora River. It features a chemical-free outdoor swimming pool and spa facilities. Great location, tucked away from the world, but easy to access everywhere. The facilities offered were first class. Great pool and spa.

A fridge and kitchenware are also offered, as well as a kettle. At the chalet complex, the units include bed linen and towels. Comfy and clean cabin only a couple minutes drive from Whangarei on a lovely farm. We got to feed the sheep and alpacas and especially enjoyed the pigs.

Situated just 20 km from Opua Forest, FOREST WATERS features accommodation in Haruru with access to a garden, barbecue facilities, as well as a shared kitchen. This property offers access to a terrace, tennis at the tennis court, free private parking and free WiFi. The bed and breakfast has an outdoor fireplace and a hot tub. The best hospitality I have ever received. Loved the location, and with help from our hosts we got to see all the best the area had to offer. Lovely breakfast.

People were very Nice and friendly and were at the door when we did arrive.

Neville and Donna were pleasant to talk to and helpful with local tips.
