The centrally located Pohutukawa Lodge is an 8-minute walk from Whangarei's town centre. It is 5 minutes' drive from Whangarei Events Centre and Toll Stadium (Semenoff Stadium). Whangarei Airport is a 15-minute drive away. Our room was immaculately clean and very comfortable!!!

Avalon, in a tranquil garden setting, offers self-catering cottages with free Wi-Fi and balconies overlooking the valley and the Puketotora River. It features a chemical-free outdoor swimming pool and spa facilities. 2 nights was not enough. A peaceful retreat which was very quiet and beautiful. Close to town with a car but night be a bit far out without. I loved this olace. Spotlessly clean and very comfortable

I travelled solo, and it was the perfect spot to unwind and soak up the tranquillity. The breakfast was simply delightful. It truly added a cosy and cheerful touch to my mornings. Every little detail has been carefully considered, making it feel just like home. The location is equally fantastic – surrounded by nature yet conveniently close to Kerikeri and Paihia. If you’re looking for a place to relax, enjoy comfort, and experience a warm, welcoming atmosphere, this is absolutely worth a visit. I’d happily return again!

The holiday home with a balcony and river views features 3 bedrooms, a living room, a flat-screen TV, an equipped kitchen with a dishwasher and an oven, and 2 bathrooms with a bath. Towels and bed linen are provided in the holiday home. The accommodation offers a fireplace. The location of the house, close to town and we loved the lake also seeing the beautiful sunrise every morning. Inside the house was immaculate, ever cosy and welcoming.
