Apartment was new and looked fantastic at first sight, but unfortunately had several defects. Beds were hard.

Natural materials, warm lights, clear instructions for recycling. Friendly host, beautiful interior, all necessary equipment inside. I wolud love to get back there someday, because it was really unique experiance!

LKAB Visitor Centre is 20 km from the holiday home, while Esrange Space Center is 34 km away. Kiruna Airport is 12 km from the property, and the property offers a paid airport shuttle service. Aurora River Camp was a bucket list experience for us..! It is located by a river (frozen during winter) across from the famous Ice Hotel, to which you could walk to (and we did). We stayed in a tiny glass igloo which was an extraordinary experience by itself. The main building offers a kitchen and shared bathrooms and showers as the igloos are only 10 m2 and only offer a composting toilet and a sink and a mini fridge (which is below the flooring). The igloo was very warm and pretty high tech. Our intention was to catch the Aurora Borealis and we did! It may be the best place to watch the Northern Lights in all of Swedish Lapland and you can just go out to the frozen river and have a 360 degree view.. Tony the camp manager picked us up and dropped us off as it is off the main center of Kiruna and waited for us for a food run at the local Coop.. He also advised up on when and where to catch the northern lights and checked up on us when the aurora borealis showed up.. He is a great host! This was one of the best nights of our lives. If you want the full Aurora Borealis experience, go there and stay at an igloo..!! Bucket list experience!!

For added privacy, the accommodation has a private entrance and soundproofing. The property is very spacious, quiet, clean and cozy. It provides everything you need when travelling. It was the best night sleep we’ve had in the past 7 days , and we had stayed in some expensive hotels. As you have the house all to yourself without other guests’ noise from different directions. We’d always been a bit concerned about staying in private properties as we worried about checking in process. But you don’t need to worry about it for this property, as the owner lives close by, and the email instructions for checking in is very clear. The owners are very friendly while valuing your privacy. For added privacy, the accommodation features a private entrance. Great location quiet little area. We were able to drive up the road 5-10 minutes and saw auroras 3 nights in a row!

Guests can enjoy a meal on an outdoor dining area while overlooking the lake views. For added privacy, the accommodation features a private entrance. Amazing inrerior/ design with thoughtful touches, like fresh flowers in the living room and bathroom, lovely bedsheets super comfy beds, great freshly grounded coffee for the morning. The host gave a little nice tip about where to try the best semla in Sweden (it was on our way to Stockholm), it was really great! The property is located on a little island so it should be a great place for relaxation and also in summer (we were off season)

Lovely location, close to the main road with a nice view. Very clean, gorgeous little cabin...plenty of room for 2-4 travelers. The hosts were very friendly and welcoming. We enjoyed our stay here very much.
