The unit is soundproofed and includes a parquet floors as well as a fireplace. This villa is allergy-free and non-smoking. The accommodation is lovely. An authentic log cabin look from the outside yet inside modern, spotless and extremely well equipped. The kitchen is excellent and there are nice touches like free Netflix and board games. There is a terrace too and ample car parking space. We were met by Greg an extremely helpful host who showed us around. This is an ideal place to stay when visiting Talkeetna.

A fridge, a microwave and stovetop are also available in the kitchen, as well as a coffee machine. The room was comfortable, well equipped and nicely maintained. The hot shower worked well as well as the electric heater which proved handy in the chilly morning not uncommon in Haines even in the middle of summer.

At the inn, all rooms include a balcony. The rooms are fitted with a private bathroom fitted with a shower and free toiletries, while some rooms also boast a kitchen equipped with a dishwasher. All rooms will provide guests with a fridge. Cleanliness, call, and the « great north » atmosphere given off by my bungalow (prospector… I’m a gold panner in transit).

I truly had the most wonderful stay at this little cabin which, is surrounded by the natural scenic beauty of North Palmer. Michael and Darcy were kind and welcoming hosts. The cabin has been a project that has been meticulously hand-crafted from love and has everything you need for a comfortable stay❤️ I especially loved the upstairs loft bedroom which, looks out to Birch woods at the back of the property and is such a cozy little space to rest for the night. The property is also, in a convenient location which, gives easy access (within a 20 minute drive) to areas of scenic wilderness and natural hiking opportunities like, Hatchers Pass as well as, an array of local amenities/shops in Palmer and other points of interest including, the little Musk Ox Farm which, I visited during my stay. My only regret is, I was not there for long enough to explore properly and will definitely book a longer stay next time😊
