Amazingly restored historic building with a very relaxed and friendly, yet privacy respecting way. Common areas are beautiful and the whole place is an inspiration. Podenhaus is located comfortably in Bad Aussee in a way that it’s easy to make day-trips to nearby lakes. Bicycle rent is also nearby. Will surely be back!

Good, comfy, clean apartment, well equipped for its purpose (the kitchen had more appliances than I'm used to :)). It's reasonably close to 2 ski regions, located in a quiet, pretty village area. Check in, check out and administration were easy. All in all: a very good place to stay.

The accommodation is perfect. Spacious and equipped with everything you need. The kitchen has all the necessary dishes. Absolutely comfortable and clean! It was wonderful for my family with a child. This place really exceeded our expectations and it has been the perfect place to spend the winter holidays where we had a really restful stay. The location is very quiet, calm with a really nice view where you can relax for real. The rooms are cozy, super clean and the beds really comfortable. Also we had a lot of great amenities like pool table, ping-pong table, foosball, and sauna. The food buffet served in the restaurant was super tasty with enough variety for both breakfast and dinner. Many thanks to the whole staff, they have been super kind, helpful, perfectly speaking english and took care that we didn't miss anything. Also the party they organized for New Year was awesome, starting with the festive dinner, punch drinks around a bonfire, fire-torch hike, fire-works, goulash soup, and a late breakfast ... now that I recall all of these it has been really amazing :).

This place really exceeded my expectations The rooms were clean and quite spacious. The stairs were a bit creeky, but for me added to the experience of staying at a 150 year old hotel. Staff were really nice! Strongly recommend to solo travelers who are used to shared bathrooms!
