I highly recommend this hotel if you are close to Innsbruck or South Bavaria. We traveled from there to Berchtesgaden and it took us through breathing windy roads through the Alps. We arrived late and we were welcomed by friendly staff. Breakfast was a buffet and also a cooked option. Delicious. And the restaurant was with the view - the hotel is based in the middle of the mountains. Room and bathroom were spotless clean. Piece and quiet. Highly recommended.

Hosts were welcoming and very friendly. We arrived with two hungry children in tow and the hosts helped us find a fantastic local restaurant by getting us to follow them in their car. The property was much larger than originally anticipated. Everything you could have asked for and more was in the property. Selection of games for children, magazines to read, well stocked with kitchen appliances. We wished we could have stayed longer.

Lovely warm welcome :-) Very good breakfast. Great location close to asitzbahn cable car (and transportation of bikes up the mountain also possible). Nice swimming pools with some comfy beds around. Good parking facilities and great bike storage area for our own bikes.

A good location for a stress-free holiday in Saalbach Hinterglemm, Fuchs und Gretl is a bed and breakfast surrounded by views of the mountain.

This was one of the best hotel stays I’ve had in a long time! From the moment I arrived, everything felt well-organized, exceptionally clean, and had a warm, personal touch. The service was outstanding in every aspect—friendly and attentive staff, excellent housekeeping, efficient check-in and check-out, and a team always willing to offer great recommendations for things to do in town. I celebrated my birthday during my stay, and the hotel went above and beyond to make it extra special, which was such a thoughtful touch. The spa facilities were a highlight—there’s a beautiful heated outdoor pool with drink service, as well as an indoor spa area with saunas and a steam room, all kept impeccably clean and truly relaxing. The hotel’s modern facilities, comfortable rooms with cozy beds, and charming little balconies made the stay even more enjoyable. The location is fantastic—just a short walk from one of the main gondolas for skiing, with the rest also within walking distance. Being right in town meant we had everything we needed close by. We also dined at the hotel’s restaurant several nights, and the food was absolutely delicious—we kept coming back for more! Overall, I highly recommend this hotel and would definitely stay again!
