I don't think we could've gotten a better place for our stay in Obertauern. This place is thought through to the micro detail. It lacks nothing and there are things that constantly delight your and surprise you. Every step from parking to checkin, to checkout was a breeze and easy. No friction. The views from our room were spectacular. Ample space for a couple. The bathroom is doorless and exposed to the rest of the room and usually I despise this in hotels but here I loved it. It actually was more convenient. And surprisingly didn't increase the humidity of the room too much as we feared.

Extremely good localisation! The ski slopes are really just outside the hotel. The staff was very friendly and helpful, food was delicious! Saunas were always empty so we were able to use them. The swimmingpool has water at a very pleasant temperature. The gym was also usually empty and easily usable. It was very silent in the hotel. It is a very good option to buy dinners at the hotel as there is very limited number of other open restaurants in Obertauern!

Hotel Almschlössl & Schrotteralm is right next to the slope in the Obertauern ski area. The Kehrkopf cable car, practice lifts, a ski school, and a ski rental are next door.

Perfect location for a family ski holiday. The Christmas gala meal was delicious! The staff were attentive, helpful, welcoming and friendly - we’ll definitely be returning 🙂

Absolutely amazing with children and still the parents can have a bit of luxury as well. Ski in & ski out location is ideal! On site ski school for small kids is a game changer and the ski instructors are so attentive. Abundance of activities and facilities for children. Lovwly (adults only) spa on the 3rd floor allows for a break from the child friendly rest of the hotel.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at a ski-in, ski-out apartment in Obertauern, and it was an unforgettable experience! From the moment we arrived, the convenience of the location was apparent. Being able to step out of the apartment and directly onto the slopes made our skiing experience incredibly enjoyable The apartment itself was cozy and well-equipped, with all the amenities we needed for a comfortable stay. The living area was spacious and perfect for relaxing after a long day on the mountain. The kitchen was modern and had everything we needed to prepare meals, which was a nice cost-saving option for our group The views from the apartment were breathtaking, with stunning mountain scenery that made each morning feel magical. The décor was charming and created a warm atmosphere that made us feel right at home. Additionally, the proximity to local shops and restaurants was a huge plus. We were able to easily explore the village and enjoy some delicious Austrian cuisine after a day of skiing The skiing in Obertauern was fantastic, with well-groomed slopes and a variety of runs for all skill levels. The ski lifts were conveniently close, and we never had to waste time commuting to the slopes Overall, I would highly recommend this ski-in, ski-out apartment to anyone looking to enjoy a fantastic ski holiday in Obertauern.
