Very clean, very comfortable, close to several ski areas! Great spa with hot jacuzzi and sauna. Family and dog friendly. It was a great vacation experience for us, we will definitely visit again!

We stayed there 2 nights on a ski excursion to Lachtal and Kresichberg. It was a perfect choice. Fantastic hospitality by the owners, friendly and helpful atmosphere, lovely alpine location. The accommodation was absolutely fantastic – spotless cleanliness, spacious areas, and a friendly, responsive staff. We didn’t lack anything; in fact, we received exactly what we expected, or even a little more. It’s an excellent choice for families, not only because of the close proximity to the ski slopes but also due to the variety of available runs. No matter your skill level, you’ll find a perfectly suited slope. The stunning surroundings and well-maintained facilities make this place truly special – highly recommended!

Pleasant very well equipped accommodation. The kitchen had everything you needed and a few extras, such as a coffee machine with excellent coffee or welcome drinks in the fridge. Everything was clean and in nice condition. The owner was very pleasant and nice, as was the environment of the accommodation itself. We were also very pleased with the possibility of parking near the apartment under a roof on a nice surface.

The place is run by a nice and very helpful pensioner couple. I was with with my godchild, they even taught a table game and played with us, helped with other requests too. They speak both German and English.

Haus Mauken is a really spacious, fully equipped apartment complete with a large balcony and stunning mountain views. Even better, the hosts are wonderful and are really dog friendly, which can be hard to come by. The flat was dog-ready complete with water and food bowls, treats and a dog bed. Access to the sauna (complete with lounge chairs, shower, robes, etc.) was nice to relax in the evening and get rid of aches and pains from skiing! For our February skiing trip, Haus Mauken was less than a 20-minute drive to Kreischberg. For our family (2 adults, 1 child+dog!!), this was an ideal place to get away from the "hustle" of the ski lifts and Murau and experience a true winter wonderland in absolute solitude. Still having a lot of snow at the house (about 1350m in elevation) was a real plus as a warm(er) spell was rapidly melting the remaining snow on the valley floor.
