We stayed there 2 nights on a ski excursion to Lachtal and Kresichberg. It was a perfect choice. Fantastic hospitality by the owners, friendly and helpful atmosphere, lovely alpine location. We are regulars in Lachtal (13-14 times already), and have tried several versions of accommodations. The newly re-built Arton definitely is among our top 2 experiences. We have opted for the upper floor deluxe apartment with 3 bedrooms. The apartment is new, modern, well equipped (excellent kitchen), two bathrooms, fireplace, large windows, balcony from the bedroom and bathroom, window sitting place in the living room, it has definitely exceeded our expectations. Naturally you have to climb the stairs to reach it :)... Be prepared! The location was known to us, as we have stayed in the earlier version of the Arton pension as well: 2 minute walk (with ski boots on) from the ski lift. Access was easy and the covered parking is also very handy, when it snows 10 cm snow during the night :)... Communication with the host was easy, and clear, check-in and check-out simple. One detail which we appreciated very much: each room/apartment has an assigned ski rack in the "basement" in a lockable cupboard, where hot air is blown into your ski boots once you hang them, to keep them warm and dry! Nice touch!

Pleasant very well equipped accommodation. The kitchen had everything you needed and a few extras, such as a coffee machine with excellent coffee or welcome drinks in the fridge. Everything was clean and in nice condition. The owner was very pleasant and nice, as was the environment of the accommodation itself. We were also very pleased with the possibility of parking near the apartment under a roof on a nice surface.

The place is run by a nice and very helpful pensioner couple. I was with with my godchild, they even taught a table game and played with us, helped with other requests too. They speak both German and English.

The staff were exceptionally welcoming, going out of their way to ensure that both my pet and I had a comfortable stay. They provided dog treats at check-in and even had a special area for pets to play. The rooms were spacious and well-appointed, with easy access to outdoor areas where dogs can roam. I appreciated that the hotel had nearby walking trails, perfect for morning walks or evening strolls with my dog.
