The deluxe apartment was amazing. The fotos don't really depict how big and nice it was. With the perfect view on the balcony. Kitchen is huge and has all supplies needed. We could enjoy breakfasts and dinners at the balcony, but it gets hot during the day. As the apartment is under the roof it was quite hot during warm summer days, but as we were out most of the day it didn't bother us. The owner is very friendly and helpful. It was a pleasure for us to stay there. The house has no shoe policy inside, so don't forget to bring your sleepers (home shoes) with you. Beds and pillows are very comfortable which is a rare thing. There are enough parking spaces. The location of the house is perfect when you are on a car trip. You can easily reach Neuschwanstein and Therme. Definitely visit Therme, that was a spontaneous choice for us, but they were really great. It was also almost perfectly quiet, so you can enjoy the nature and rest from city noises. The loved our stay and would definitely return. Definitely recommend

My wife and I loved everything!! The host, Annaliese, could not have been sweeter or more kind! We arrived just before 2100 due to some traffic. She offered and made us fresh tea and served that with some homemade cake. We sat and talked to her for almost 20 minutes before heading to our room. The room was incredibly nice and complete with a note from Annaliese and fresh drinks for the evening. The bed and duvet covers were very, very comfortable... we slept so peacefully! And then... there's the breakfast! There was only my wife and I plus one other guest for the night and you would have thought the place was packed based on the size of the spread!! Everything was delicious... from the fresh-baked breads to the jams, yogurt and fresh fruit, along with an abundant meat and cheese selection. Anneliese even offered for us to make sandwiches for the road since she knew we'd be doing some walking and sightseeing that day. We honestly LOVED everything! Anneliese and her family (who have run the Bed and Breakfast for almost 100 years) we the most generous and thoughtful hosts. We will be most certainly be back!! -Daniel

We had a wonderful time at the property! It was the perfect place for our family (six adults). The kitchen was well stocked so we were able to enjoy breakfasts around the kitchen table and dinners on the well-appointed patio. An amenity we did not expect - there was an assortment of wines, beers, and other refreshments available for purchase which was especially nice on the evening of our arrival. On our second evening there was an issue with not having hot water - apparently the boiler was having technical difficulties. We emailed the owners at 22:30, and by 9:30 the next morning the technician had already been there to fix the issue. The owner's responsiveness was impressive which we so appreciated! The location is amazingly situated - about 25 minutes from Neuschwanstein and Hohenschwangau (just over the border in Germany) and only about 10 minutes from Ehrenberg castle, fortress, and ruins. Our time at the chalet was magical - thank you to the owners and our host Gerda!

The elder couple that runs the hotel is very friendly. The location and interior, especially breakfast space, make you feel like you are in the traditional Alps house. The view to mountains is gorgeous and the breakfast is good, there is something to choose from for everybody. Enjoyed the stay very much and I would consider staying here again!

This was truly the Bavarian experience we were looking for. This hotel was wonderfully cosy and warm decorated in Bavarian decor. We were greeted by Eva whom I corresponded with prior to my stay and she we friendly and really made us feel welcomed escorting us up directly to our room. The room was large with a balcony overlooking the snow topped mountains. It was spectacular. The floors in the bathroom were heated which was a very nice on cold mornings and in the middle of the night. The food in the restaurant was excellent and the service was friendly and warm. This was our best experience of our trip.

Peaceful location, great rooms, tons of things to do in the immediate area, and greasy breakfast included. We booked as an overnight stay but truly wished we could have spent more time there. It has the resort feel but extremely peaceful and quiet in the evening.
