Great location. Beautiful surroundings and view. Staff was great. Restaurant onsite is good but pricey. In general on our trip trough Switzerland the dinners were not memorable and cost significantly more than New York City.

Kind and nice staff. You can check in through the key box. Tasty breakfast. Comfortable bed, pillow, blanket soft as a cloud. There is a jug of water in the room, and as a bonus, candy with the Swiss flag.

This hotel was amazing! We got a room overlooking the lake and were not disappointed. The window/door/balcony took up the whole wall that overlooked the lake providing stunning views the entire time. They provided a bowl and bed for our dog that was traveling with us and greeted her along with us every time we entered or exited. The staff was super attentive and helpful. The restaurant was delicious and the menu is seasonal. It’s in a small but cute town with easy access to the bus that takes you to the nearest train station, it is also right by a ferry during the summer. They have lots of brochures for information on activities nearby and will gladly help you plan any excursions. There’s lots of storage space for all of your equipment and clothes.

The palace-style Hotel Monopol is right next to the Lucerne Train Station, the Chapel Bridge and the KKL Convention Centre. Free WiFi is available.

First and the foremost, I had planned to reach luzern in the evening and could check in only late at night (around 10pm) and had informed the property beforehand, however I was worried as to how to access the hotel because there wouldn’t be anyone at the reception but the property owner had done all the preparations and made the access really easy and autonomous, there was nothing to worry about!! Secondly, the staff/manager were very polite and helpful. And the breakfast was splendid. Thirdly, the room was sparklingly clean and the view from the balcony was just speechless. Lastly, the hotel was worth it and I would like to recommend this hotel to anyone who likes nature, mountains and a peaceful ambience!!

Where do I start? The room is spacious, our Mountain View was lovely and the weather was good enough to keep the door open or relax outside. Breakfast was excellent, good quality products and very good spread. The staff from reception to servers in the restaurant were amazing! The lady at breakfast paid attention to detail, on day 2 she even kept special kiddie cutlery for our little one! Spa! If all that is good enough, the spa is lovely and so relaxing after a long day outside. Very clean! Would definitely stay here again! Already scouting out dates 😀

This hotel ia lovely and cosy. For whom is in weggis a must to stay in the hotel. The team is very accomodating. My suggestion a room with a mountain view would definately help with your stay be more relaxed. The hotel has a nice comfy restaurant with mountain views. You can see and view the mountains will grabbing a breakfast or dinner. We all enjoyed and honestly if i had to return back indeed this is the place i would return too.
