It was our second time there and we would go again if we're in the area. It's ca 25min drive from Zugspitze. They have an authentic Gasthof with wooden decorations, homelike feeling etc. They also have a restaurant in the building which means there's no need to go searching for one and the food is good. All in all, will visit again. Also, it seems thay have done room renovation during the covid time. Bathroom in our room was new.

We had chosen to stay at Das Graseck as part of our honeymoon and it was perfect! The access via the cable car was great fun; the location was breathtakingly beautiful; there was a variety of spa facilities available all of which were very clean and well maintained; you can walk to Partnach Gorge from the hotel; the 4 course meal each night was absolutely wonderful! We couldn't fault the food in anyway. What made this stay even more wonderful was the staff; the staff and team at Das Graseck were lovely, especially since we spoke very little German so they were kind enough to speak in English where possible. Additionally we want to say thank you for upgrading our room as a honeymoon treat. The room we had was absolutely stunning, and we were very grateful. Lastly, I want to make a special mention to 'Robin' who was one of the restaurant staff and who served us for our first two nights; he was very polite and patient, very caring as to when we wanted our next meal and whether there was anything on the menu we didn't want. Robin really stood out to us on our stay in his excellent customer service, so thank you.

The house was perfect for our stay. We traveled to Mittenwald for biking and chose this as our base. It was cozy, with convenient storage for our bikes in the garage, spacious rooms, and comfortable beds. The views of the mountains were stunning, and it was just a short walk to all of Mittenwald's restaurants.

All was fabulous! All appliances were new and modern. It was great to have a lift when arriving with luggage. The railway station and old town are very close. A few missing items that may have made our stay stay even better were a microwave and a clothes dryer, even though there was a clothes airer.
