The place is very clean and equips with everything you need for a night stay. They even have free drinks in the fridge including beers for guest. Room size is good as well. Quiet neighbourhood near the temple. I would stay there again if I return to Nagano.

I will be agreeing with most of the reviews for this hostel. This is an excellent place to stay for considerate travelers. The staff are all warm and kind, and they go above and beyond as hosts and local guides. The place also seems to draw the most friendly and respectful travelers as well. Everything was clean and well-maintained, and no one was messy or obnoxious. In the old japanese house, it felt like a home away from home. Just remember that this is a Japanese style accommodation, so don't expect too many western style amenities, e.g. some spaces are small, and the bathroom can be cold at night.

This is a very authentic stay in Japan and a great experience for a family. Friendly and helpful host.

Gibier b&b was really fantastic. Amazing place with all the attention for the details. Breakfast was delicious, reach portions, authentic meals, fresh and high quality food. Tips of Gibier were also so useful and precious about how to explore the area . House was authentic Japanese style, a lot of space outside and inside. It couldn't be better.

Very good customer service! We accidentally booked smoking room and they switched our rooms. Very clean and modern hotel right next to the JR station. Free breakfast buffet that includes both Japanese and western options. Very happy with our stay!

The location is very convenient as it is right next to the train station. Our room was ready early so they allowed us to check in early. The beds were comfortable, the rooms were clean and fairly spacious, and the staff was FANTASTIC. They are extremely professional and went out their way to help us make a call in japanese when we needed assistance.
