Ski Resorts in Sovata

Food was great, we took three meals per day and it was never under our expectations. Soups are especially great. Would come back always there. Parking is difficult in the region, but we never had any issues to find a spot. Owner is very helpful and the hotel is located in the perfect spot.

The location is very beautiful. The property has a big garden with two places to eat, also a grill and a fireplace. The house is nicely equipped, the living room is big and the kitchen well functioning. The woman that let us in is really friendly and warming. We recommended us some places to swim and eat. Lacul Ursu is not so far, 20 min walk, and a supermarket is nearby as well.

It was very easy to agree with the host on the arrival time and she waited for us with the keys. She showed us the apartment and gave us a few tips about the local restaurants and shops. Throughout our stay the host responded promptly to all our questions. The apartment is very spacious and stylishly decorated. The view on the hills is stunning (autumn colours!). Even if it is situated in a quiet location, it is very easy to get to centre by foot. The kitchen is small ( as the pictures show) but enough to prepare the breakfast and light meals. We will return for sure!

The receptionist is super friendly, she provided all info we need and we might need. The area of the hotel is large, it consisted of two buildings. The room that we got was really nice and spacious. If I remember right it was 213, not so sure. It has a huge balcony with comfortable beach chairs that my daughter and I love so much. Food was also great, fresh tiger shrimp with acceptable price. Most of the above, the staffs are so awesome, they made us feel so welcomed and they always smiled.

Very clean place, quiet, comfortable, with a beautiful yard. Comfortable bed, no noise at night so you can sleep really well. The host was helpful and friendly. Would choose the place again for a stay in Sovata.

We absolutely loved everything. We liked the conditions, the cleanliness of the rooms, the cleanliness of the common areas, and the cleanliness of the kitchen. We liked the room itself, and we especially loved the beds — they were perfect for sleeping. We also appreciated the flexible setup of the villa. There were no strict time rules, which was very convenient. We would especially like to highlight the incredible kindness and hospitality of the villa owner, Kami, and the staff member, Erika. These people were so kind and responsive. We would gladly return again — and definitely to this very villa. There’s also a story that we want to share, which shows just how responsible and conscientious these people are. On the day we checked out from the villa, we stopped at a coffee shop near Kaufland on the edge of Sovata before heading home. I accidentally left my bag there, which had all my documents. We realized this only after we were already 250 kilometers away. A woman from the coffee shop found my phone number and contacted me. But unfortunately, our poor knowledge of the Romanian language made it difficult to communicate clearly with her. At that point, we contacted the villa owner and she helped coordinate with the woman who had found my bag. To our surprise, Kami asked her husband to pick up the bag for us. When we returned later that evening, he was waiting for us at the reception with the bag. We are incredibly grateful for this help. These people truly saved us — and they didn’t ask for anything in return. It’s unbelievable. God bless you.
