We were greeted by the wonderful host who explained everything we needed to know about the property and the many hiking options in the area. Our room was very clean and comfortable. We loved relaxing on our balcony after dinner and enjoying the wonderful views of the mountains. We enjoyed having our breakfast in their beautiful sun room. There were many delicious options including freshly prepared eggs as you would like them. We would definitely stay here again.

Very nice rooms, friendly staff, great location just 5 minutes from the lake. Since we came in the winter season, we were able to go to breakfast and to spa at their sister Hotel Bohinj (for €15/entry), which was a really high quality experience.

Surrounded by unspoiled nature, Hotel Bohinj is situated 100 metres from Bohinj Lake. It offers rooms with mountain view and few rooms on the top floor with lake view.

We stayed at Bohinj River House before and after a multi day hike in the Julian Alps and it was the perfect base! The apartment and facilities are new, modern and very comfortable. We particularly loved the spa facilities and the wonderful inclusive breakfast. The staff were so kind and friendly and truly went above and beyond to help us out with anything we needed. Would highly recommend.

The hosts were lovely. We were greeted by their homemade Limoncello and rakija which were delicious. Everything we needed or asked they provided and helped. I even got a present for my birthday :). When we were barbecuing they setup the whole thing and then even brought drinks and all the required tools. Would recommend to everyone.
