This place is great. Stayed in a room for 6 and had some pretty good sleeps. The place itself is quiet and cozy, reflecting the location. Burat (I hope I'm writing his name correctly), the guy running the place in the evenings, is super chill. The lady in the morning there is super friendly too, i was able to check out early mo problem and the housekeeping lady is so warm, she really tried to converse with me in slovene even though I don't speak a lick of it and it was sweet. Lockers were definitely the best part, you basically get your own huge closet with a key so you don't have to worry about getting your own lock.

The entire experience of staying at Brdo was phenomenal. The rooms were perfectly outfitted with amazing lighting, bedding, and any other necessities, our room was immaculately cleaned and smelt amazing, as did the rest of the hotel. The climate control in the room worked well, the view from the room was stunning. The Wellness Spa center was a huge highlight of our stay, one of the most amazing spas I have ever seen in my life. The breakfast buffet was incredibly well done with many options, and plenty of fruit + plant based milks for vegans (alongside other nice vegetables, bread, cereal options). The location of the property is perfect with plenty to explore on the estate, surrounding area (mountains, restaurants, waterfalls, churches). The Brdo estate itself is the best kept estate I have ever encountered, very impressed. The gift shop had the most amazing items to choose from too! We also liked that the hotel was dog friendly! A+++

The location is surreal. You look up and you see the beautiful hill top of Grintovec. Below, a few meters from the cabin there is a perfect little creek, just the right soundtrack to your dreams. The night sky is magical, full of stars. The cabins are clean and smell of fresh wood. There are two beds in each and there is also electricity so you can charge your devices and light so you can read. The shared bathrooms and showers are clean and close to the cabins. As everyone before said, the host is friendly and interesting. A perfect stop when passing through or a base if you want to explore this amazing part of Slovenia with all its hiking trails, rivers and mountains.

Spacious appartement, really friendly host. We stayed in the top apartment with a kitchen, living room, hallway, bathroom and huge bedroom. For us it was on our way to Croatia but we would definitely recommend this place.

Fantastic, friendly host who are helping in each situation and brings fresh fruit and bread for breakfast. It is beautiful and very spacious apartment, huge bathroom with separate bath and shower, great kitchen with dining area and nice bedrooms. Around 15 minutes by walk from city centre, near supermarket and bakery. Quiet area.

The accommodation was wonderful. The bed was comfortable. Everything new and very clean. Parking spaces were plenty! Breakfast small and sufficient. I would go back in a heartbeat.-

Mojca was such a lovely and welcoming host. We felt right at home from the beginning. The restaurant was brilliant. We enjoyed a wonderful dinner with a mountain view. Rooms are super clean, beds are comfy, and it was nice to have a fridge. A shared kitchen is also available.
