Set in Fladnitz an der Teichalm, 39 km from Graz Central Station, G.H. Knoll "Proellhofer" Cafe Bar Hills offers accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a shared lounge and a terrace. Among the facilities of this property are a restaurant, free shuttle service and room service, along with free WiFi throughout the property. The accommodation provides a hot tub, evening entertainment and family rooms. The hotel is in a lovely mountain location with little else around it, so very quiet if that's what you're looking for. The staff are all very welcoming and friendly. Breakfast was relaxed with a good selection of hot and cold food and drinks. The restaurant has a comprehensive menu and a very pleasant environment with a terrace that has a great view. My room was typically Austrian/German; very functional but not too fancy and with plenty of room. Clean and well looked after as was the whole hotel. My special request was acknowledged and honoured. I will definitely stay here again when in the area.

Everything was great at Gasthof Hochbauer: quiet location, excellent meals, helpful host, incredibly clean. And tourist spots like Schüsselbrunn, Bärenschützklamm, and the Franz-Scheikl via ferrata all within a reasonable distance for trips. We loved it.

Gastwirtschaft Hold offers a children's playground. You can play darts at this 3-star hotel, and the area is popular for hiking and skiing. This is a wonderful place to stay. Everyone was very friendly and accommodating. We chose a suite and were surprised by the size of it. It had a coffee maker and a small fridge which were perfect for our stay. The bed was very comfortable and the walk-in shower was great. There was a tub but we didn't use it during our stay. There was a nice porch out front where we sat to enjoy the spring sunshine. Breakfast was a feast with items and coffee made to order as well as a large layout of food to chose from in the buffet. We ate dinner in the evening and everything was fresh and made to order. It was so good we were even tempted by dessert. We enjoyed being in a family run establishment which made us feel like welcome guests.

Free private parking is available on site. A bus stop is right outside, and the Rohrbach Train Station is a 12-minute drive away. The Mönichwald Ski Area, as well as the historic town of Vorau, can be reached in a 15-minute drive. The food was excellent even for a someone with celiac. Super friendly staff! Clean big room in a beautiful village in the forest.

The owner runs a typical Heurigen restaurant in the surrounding hills, where you can enjoy regional dishes. It can be reached by car in 3 minutes. The area is great for hiking or Nordic Walking. Cross-country skiing tracks are 10 km away. Everything! Great hotel, excellent food , fantastic staff, good spa and the best restaurant-bar Bratl-Alm, few minutes away from the hotel which belongs to the same owner. Beautiful mountains view and relaxing atmosphere, great location for hiking and skiing in the season.

The Almwellness Hotel Pierer****Superior on the Teichalm refreshes with even more recreational quality. Thanks to the newly expanded AlmWellness & SPA area with a 20-metre infinity pool, panorama sauna and a second outdoor whirlpool as well as 12 Alpine garden suites, yoga & activity room and fitness studio and an underground car park with 29 parking spaces, it will be even nicer! It is one of the best and most beautiful hotels I have ever been. Everything was on the top level.

If the Alps ever offered certificates, this one would say “Certified Hygienic Luxury.” Let’s talk kitchen: better equipped than most people’s actual homes. We're talking full spice rack, gadgets galore, appliances that made you want to cook for fun. Add to that: smart TVs in every room, top-notch Wi-Fi, washer/dryer, dishwasher – honestly, you could settle in for a full sabbatical and not miss a beat. The layout was fantastic – plenty of proper bedrooms + extra chill/sleep zones on the mezzanines. Great for families, groups, or people who just like to have options. Now, the view. That view. Straight from a screensaver – mountains, stillness, nature whispering "you’re doing amazing, sweetie." And the hot tub on the terrace? Spotless. Big enough to stretch out. Basically a spa with altitude. Bonus points: super responsive host, fast communication, and a remote-yet-practical location with shops just 15 mins away. Oh – and a nearby lake perfect for dog walks, picnics, or pondering whether to extend your stay "just a few more nights." If there’s a spot available when we’re booking next – don’t even ask. We’re coming back. And we might bring friends. Or just more dogs.
