The location was great, centrally and next to the train station and the Zugspitze bahn. The apartment was clean, well equipped and with a modern design. We stayed in the apartment n. 2. The bed and the sofa bed were very comfortable. Although near the train station, the room was totally soundproof. The staff was great and helpful, and promptly available when we needed. My family felt very welcomed. We’ll definitely come back next year for our ski holidays.

The area is popular for skiing, mountainbiking, climbing and hiking. The Ehrwalder Alm Cable Car is 5 km from Mellow Mountain Hostel and the climbing gym is 0.5 km away. Perfect location for hiking and exploring - really beautiful views of the mountains from the communal area. Staff were also amazing! Isabel was lovely, very friendly and extremely helpful. Sebastian was also a great help, allowing us to hang out our wet tent in the laundry area ☺️

The Hotel Zugspitze's spacious rooms feature a modern en suite bathroom, Alpine-style furnishings, comfortable beds and free high-speed internet access. The hotel is top quality. Starting with clean and cozy rooms, forthcomming and caring personnel ending with absolutely fabulous dinner. Greatly furnished rooms with large enough beds (I have difficulty with this in 90% of the hotels) were cherry on top. Gorgeous view from the balcony as well as high quality spa and tasty afternoon snacks were great surprises!

The Hotel Föhrenhof is situated in a peaceful area on the edge of a forest in Farchant, just 3 km from the Garmisch-Partenkirchen. The sun terrace and garden offer a beautiful view of the Zugspitz and Wetterstein mountains.

Farchant is an ideal staring point for hiking and skiing, with several skilifts within 9 km. Zugspitze (mountain) is 15 kilometers away and Eibsee (lake) is 15 kilometers away. Beautifully presented, free parking excellent. Greeted us with an icecream for my daughter and buttered pretzels all around. Very welcoming 😀
