Unfortunately, we stayed only one night on our way to other destination but we fully enjoyed our stay there! It was very quiet, very confortable beds and pillows, very good breakfast and coffee, free private parking. There was an amazing lady at reception on our check out day (my apologies for forgotten your name, dear kind and amazing lady) who helped us with the tourist cards for the bus and she reccomended us where to and visit! All rooms have a balcony, seating area with cable TV and a private bathroom. Some have unobstructed views of Winkelmatten. Several have views of Mount Matterhorn. All are rustically furnished. Several have a wood-paneled ceiling and solid wood ceiling beams. Wi-Fi is available free of charge. A lovely hotel, located perfectly a few steps away from the cabin car to the glacier. A bit uphill and outside of the city center but it became an advantage for our trip. We didn’t book a room with Matterhorn view, nevertheless the view from our balcony was stunning. Breakfast was very good, enough variety to fuel for the day in the mountains 😊 Staff was very kind and helpful. Would definitely come back!

The hotel is 600 metres from the First Cable Car Station and lies 100m above the centre of Grindelwald. Its rooms and sun terrace have magnificent views of the surrounding scenery. It also features a unique spa area in the goats' stable. Bodmi Arena and bus station just outside of the premises. Very convenient for beginner snow activities lover.
