47 km from Jigokudani Monkey Park, BUNA KUSATSU Onsen Inn is a recently renovated property set in Kusatsu and offers air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi and private parking. The 3-star guest house features quiet street views and is 15 km from Mt. Kusatsu Shirane. The guest house has parking on-site, a hot spring bath and a shared kitchen. It was my first time in Kusatsu and I am really happy that I chose the Buna Hotel. The hotel is spotlessly clean. I love its modern side while still keeping a very traditional Japanese atmosphere. The place is beautiful, very quiet, and the welcome was so polite. I will recommend this hotel to my friends in France, and I truly hope to come back to Kusatsu one day. Arigatō gozaimasu! 🙏✨

Kusatsu International Ski Area is 1.5 km away. The ryokan is 11 km from Haneo Train Station, and 7 km from Sanroku Ropeway Station. Nikko-ji Temple is about a 5-minute walk away.

The hotel offers ski storage and luggage storage. A hot-spring bath can be reserved for private use, for a fee. An authentic Japanese breakfast is served. Kanemidori is a beautiful ryokan just steps away from Yubatake and central Kusatsu. The room was enormous and absolutely stunning traditional tatami room. We got to enjoy new yukata designs each day of our trip, and the quiet and beautiful baths were almost always empty when we visited them. The staff didn't speak much English, but we were able to communicate everything necessary. They even came to the car when we arrived and took our bags! It was a lovely and relaxing experience.
