We liked everything - apartment was big, clean, with a big table, a lot of beds, 2 balconies, 2 bathrooms with showers, a dishwasher and a kitchen. We could use washing and drying mashines for free. The hotel lobby was nice and we could rent shuffleboard game for some money. There is a big river, mountain and lake very close to the hotel

These cottages are located in Rysstad village in the Setesdal Valley. All feature wooden interiors, a well-equipped kitchen. Brokke Alpine Centre is a 10-minute drive away. Free WiFi is available in the main building. The cabin was right next to the river and the mountains, the view from the couch in the livingroom was perfect. Even though the complex has many cabins/camping spots and it was high season, you could have the feeling of being alone looking at the river and mountains from you window because of the well-thought position of the cabins. It was a great place to be with a small kid with everything so close (little beach, canoe renting, playground, restaurant, etc) The staff was also very friendly! We had a great holiday here, thanks and hopefully we will be coming back!

Guests can find skiing slopes a 10-minute drive away at Brokke Alpinsenter, while the terrain around Rysstad has many routes for hiking and mountain biking. Other area activities include fishing, swimming and kayaking in the Otra River, along with rock-climbing in Brokke, just 6 km away. Very nice place and very friendly staff. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. Even though there were very small number of guests the breakfast was great.

About 21km away from the main road,driving and feeling like there is nothing around us except the beautiful nature but then we reached this cosy , interesting hotel !
