Stryn Ski Centre is 30 minutes’ drive away. Free parking is available at Hjelle Hotel. This family run hotel is an experience. Amazing history, beautiful rooms, breakfast and dinner. Cannot recommend enough. Amazing.

All units in the hotel are fitted with a coffee machine. With a private bathroom equipped with a shower and a hairdryer, rooms at Elva Hotel also offer a mountain view. All guest rooms will provide guests with a fridge. It is like 5 stars camping we liked it Very good location on the lake.

Store Ringheim’s restaurant is open on most days and serves a variety of homemade meals. Guests also have the hotel bar in which to relax after a day out in the surrounding mountains. It also has a garden. Reaaaaaaaalllllllllyyyyyyyyyy great experience of restaurant + stay. The staff is really nice and helpful. The surroundings are BEAUTIFUL and VERY CALM. It’s soothing and very much relaxing.

The house was perfect in every way—cozy, beautifully maintained, and with the most stunning views over the mountains and lake. Waking up to this scenery felt like a dream. The host Jarle was incredibly welcoming and made us feel right at home, adding a personal touch that made our stay even more special. Everything exceeded our expectations, and we truly hope to return one day. Highly recommended to anyone visiting this amazing part of Norway!”

Very nice house close to the bus station. Some reviews said that there were no blinds and was missing a hair dryer but when I got there, all windows had blinds/curtains and hair dryer was stored in the bathroom. Overall, it was really pleasant to stay here.

Skiing, cycling and hiking are possible within the area, and A home away from home offers ski-to-door access. We loved staying in this house. We stayed only for 2 nights, but wish we could have stayed longer. The house is beautiful, well maintained, and has an amazing view. It was super clean and had all we needed, fully equipped kitchen, and plenty of towels. Beds were very comfortable, which is important to us. Also, you can completely darken the rooms, another big plus. The communication with hosts was perfect. They are very thoughtful and provided a list of attractions, restaurants, and hikes in the area. That was really useful since the area has so much to offer and it helped us choose the activities for our limited time there. We went to Briksdalsbreen glacier. The house is near a ski resort, so it must be a great place to stay in the winter. We highly recommend this house and the hosts.
